Week 4:
July 16 - July 20

Bobby Valentine’s Sports Academy Baseball Camp
Grades 2 – 8

Swing for the fences with Bobby V’s! BVSA’s camp curriculum is a combination of sports instruction, competitive drills, and fun games. The focus is teaching through fun activities that promote athletic movement, in addition to unique baseball-specific drills that help players hone skills and improve coordination.

Players are encouraged to bring their own gloves and equipment. Some equipment will be provided as needed.

Drobots’ Drone Superhero Missions
Grades 3 - 5

Use your “Spidey Sense” to conquer missions such as Daredevil in Distress, Batman’s Drone Mobile Escape, The Breakout of Iron Man, and more, by flying drones! Drobots has designed this program for novice to experienced drone pilots. Drobot instructors will help campers design how to attack and defend against superheroes and villains. Campers will begin the week learning basic maneuvers before going on missions. Participants will storyboard their own escape missions, while other students attempt to outsmart them using the drone to locate and capture. Drone safety and the social responsibilities of flying drones are included in this program. All campers go home with cool workbooks and keepsakes from their time with Drobots!

Drobots' Racing & Obstacle Course Challenge
Grades 6 - 8

Ready to become a professional racing pilot as seen on ESPN? This camp is pure action-packed fun, as campers enjoy one of the world’s fastest-growing sports, Drone Racing. Campers will begin by learning the basics and safety protocols of drone piloting, and from there will progress through various skill challenges. Campers will form teams and race against others as well as the clock. They will learn to maneuver their drones through creative obstacle courses before taking on the challenge of flying for speed. Campers contribute fully in this program as they design and help build the obstacle course in preparation for the last day’s final activities and competition.
